Description
Another challenge piece from me, and another female character too... The challenge title was 'Assassins of Heaven and Hell', and I kind of went off on a lighter route. Apologies if you've seen it before, but I feel so unproductive recently, I wanted to put it here too. Photoshop 6 with a bit of Painter. Not sure of how long, as it was a lunchtime and evening piece at work, 'cause my home computer is a pile of poo!Edit: There is a story behind this picture: She's not really an Angel. The fake halo and wings give it away really. She's actually a demon, who's dyed her hair (you can see the black roots), and gone along to a fancy dress party in Hell, organised by the hellish hierarchy, as an Angel. She's then crept up behind this little fellah and shouted 'Hands Up!' scaring him into thinking heaven's just about to attack...

Sulariade - Yes, your right about the eyeline. She should move back or the Demon come slightly forward...
thienbao - The only reference here was for the crossbow, but it was just to get an idea of how they look. The clothing is from my head, but I do look at folds and creases of clothes in pictures and life to get an idea of how they will form. But I do really enjoy doing material.
oeter - Yes, the wings are a bit vague...

Already told you this I think - I seriously envy you for the way you shade skin - it's just totally awesome and very inspirational. (Specially the subtle changes between hard and soft edges .
And I don't need to mention the way you paint leather or latex (already asspatted you on that issue
